The wine flowed as we all celebrated the 5^th Anniversary of CRU Restaurant at 1459 West Broadway in Vancouver. CRU is noted for their fine wine and dinner pairings and 5 years is quite the achievement. The evening featured the Jois 2007 Rose along with the Burrowing Owl 2007 Pino Gris which accompanied the cheeses and crackers as well as the appetizers, my favorite was the Halibut Cakes.
