Bogani Cafe, 2023 111 Street, Edmonton

If you're looking for a decent all-around café that will appease both your grandma and your teenage sister, Bogani Café might just be it.  On any given day you'll see both family reunions and students on laptops sharing this ample space that easily sits 40 people. This neighbourhood café nestled in a busy strip mall of southwest Edmonton offers a few light meal items, desserts, and coffees/teas in a casual atmosphere.

The coffees are passable, if a bit pricey, but I suspect people come here for reasons other than to be coffee connoisseurs.   Accessibility is at least one of the main draws.  Bogani Café is open seven days a week until 10:30pm, at the time of this writing.

But watch it or else the day will easily pass you by while you're here, thanks to the wireless internet (for a low annual membership of $5), a quiet loft area, the casual and friendly staff, and a shelf of books for your leisure reading.  The ambience is generic café meets homey back-yard garden, with plants (real and silk), a water feature, and boulevard lamps, set beneath the exposed pipes of the high ceiling.
